We would love you to come visit our operations and see how our cattle can improve your herd for the coming years!

Clark Farms is a fifth generation family farm located in the mountains of Fulton County Pennsylvania. Clark Farms started as a partnership between father and son, Jack M and Jack A. The cow program has been in the family for several generations. With strong family values and a lot of hard work Clark Farms has grown to what it is today! Now run with Jack A’s son, Jack A. II, the cattle herd has grown not only in numbers but also in quality.

In 2000 Clark Farms bought their first registered cow, 6417 (ideal 1418 daughter) which started a love for angus cattle and a whole new world of genetics to study. When Jack II was 13 he met Jeff Ward, who became an amazing mentor and a very close friend both in the Angus world and in life. As a student of Jeff’s, Jack was taught many lessons about the purebred cattle business. Jack recalls the first lesson learned from Jeff was “it is a feed game”, so in turn ensures that the cattle have the ability to thrive at every stage of their life and in any environment, from the deserts of the South to the freezing temps in the North. Jack also remembered learning the value of  line breeding and how it can help make more predictable cattle and shows the strength of a gene pool.

For many years now both father and son have been very invested in learning the most they can about genetics, with a great understanding of genetics they believe you can make leaps and bounds in breeding cattle, and that is just what they are working towards. Clark Farms breeds keeping in mind the overall importance of a maternal cow herd with great reproduction, efficiency, and the ability to wean big calves. They have built a strong cow base originating from Jeff Ward, Tom Elliot, Dale Davis, Jorgenson Land & Cattle, and Kelly Schaff.

At Clark Farms we run an extensive AI & ET program focused on donors, with Emulation based cattle on the forefront of the maternal lines. We look for high growth bulls who are still maternal oriented so we don't sacrifice our mother cow. Clark Farms is a purebred operation with the commercial cattleman at the forefront of our thinking. It is no wonder Angus is the #1 beef bred in the world, Jack says people who want to be profitable in their cattle program will benefit from having a degree of angus cattle in their herd. Our goal is to assemble a cow herd that is very consistent, that can meet the demands of the consumer, and with that surpass the customers expectations.
